Mum, Irish Nanny A fabulous and unique Mum and Nanny, we all miss you every day. The special Irish sayings, the tone of voice when you would say our names, the shout of shoes off, the call for tea, or the way only you could say 'Gorgeous', used to great babies and children, but often used to describe pretty dresses, beautiful china, the smell or a rose or even a sunny day. Mum treasured everything she had, her little babies who grew into fabulous children, a credit to her, to the little knitted booties that once they wore. There was a place and space for it all in her house and her heart. Never a complaint about too many, or not enough to go around, just a welcome for us all, especially her grandchildren AKA her Bunny Rabbits! We will miss Mum, Irish Nanny, everyday, we treasure all that she gave us, there is a little bit of Mum in all of us, she is here in our hearts forever. Love Tony, Helen, Holly and Danni xxxx

I will always love you Irish nan. I will miss seeing you in that chair in malefant st. I will miss asking you questions about your past and childhood and your often one word responses. I will miss your cooking, the delicious bread, curry and the only apple pie in the whole world I would eat. I will miss you tutting, I will miss hearing your voice and your thick Irish accent.
