We will never forget our wonderfully long and happy summer holidays in Ireland on the farm with Aunty Nan. She welcomed an army of relatives drawn to the farm every summer. She made everything seem effortless whether cooking a huge dinner or making butter in the dairy once the cows had been milked. I was fascinated as a child watching Nan mould the butter into shape using wooden paddles and loads of salt and then putting heaps of her delicious butter onto her warm soda bread just taken from the oven. Magical happy memories of our remarkable Aunty Nan.
